1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
The black and gloss gunmetal Omni S1 Pro from Eufy is among the most impressive mop and robot vacuum combos available. It uses lidar for navigation, creating maps of rooms and floors.
The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which has linoleum in the dining area, kitchen and bathrooms and a medium-pile and a large rug. It was able to drive right up to walls without hitting them and even managed to traverse thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, but it sometimes was unable to navigate down stairs in a single move. The S1 did a good job cleaning hard floors. Its mop moved smoothly on its flat side and lifted itself when it came to carpets or rug.
Before each mopping session, the docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills the water tank onboard with clean filtered ozonated water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water to ensure deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough water for around 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this will vary depending the amount you use the mop.
The S1 needs periodic maintenance, just like any other 2-in-1 robots. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to keep it from becoming blocked. You'll also need to clean the swivel wheel and sensors frequently to avoid them from getting clogged by dirt or dust. Overall the S1 requires less maintenance than other combos.
2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
This all-in-one robotic mop and vacuum from Ecovacs is a great choice for cleaning requirements. Its robot vacuum boasts 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control, and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. Its mopping capability is remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if required.
The robot comes with an easy interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged to reach those areas the robot can't reach as well as two water tanks that are automatically emptied and filled whenever required. Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year however their latest top-of-the-line robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It is a great cleaner, and it is easy to maintain. This makes it a top contender on our top list of robot vacuums and mop. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection, and an expanded side brush ensure that a thorough, customized clean is accomplished.
The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming and removing fine and large debris from both hard floors and carpets. It also cleaned our test's most soiled areas efficiently, while avoiding tangled pet hairs and other dirt.
