Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop
Robotic vacuum cleaners and mops are the best method to quickly clean up mess. The top robot vacuums and mop I test had superior mapping and navigation. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as wires that were tangled.
You can also schedule cleaning chores through an app and monitor their progress.
1. Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the most efficient robot mop and vacuum combination. It has the latest features. This top-of-the-line vacuum is fast and agile, and it picked up human hair and pet hair nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also features a sleek interface that includes a mini map of your home and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.
The S8's Dirt Detection Technology allows it to alter the cleaning mode according to the level of dirt. It will clean its mopping pads more frequently if it encounters dust. Carpeted areas get priority for mopping using a damp mopping pad.
The mop's roller has a number of other smart features, including a dock that connects to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without you having to refill the mop. With the built-in voice assistant on the S8 you can make use of voice commands to set room cleaning modes and precise control with just your voice.
2. Yeedi Cube
The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those who want a hands-free robot vacuum that can also mop. It's one of a variety of combo robot vacuums that also feature mops but comes at a cheaper price than most of the competition.
Like most robot vacuums, the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get started. This includes setting up an app account and connecting the device to your WiFi network. After that, the machine will start vacuuming and mops easily.
It's important to note that the mapping process may take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your living space. In addition the object detection is unpredictable; it was able to skirt furniture and other obstacles, but was stuck on a looser tassel and had to flip it over to get free. These are minor issues and the Yeedi Cube remains a great option for those looking for an appliance that can do it all.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete is a home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbers. This means that floors are cleaned, not just cleaned. And its detachable stick vacuum is a game-changer that allows you to reach areas that robotic vacuums aren't able to reach.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home and offer dynamic obstacles avoidance. The smart app lets you customize a variety of settings such as scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping and has both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. Its battery longevity is sufficient to cover large areas without requiring a recharge mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro is a top-quality robot vacuum and mop model that has impressive features for affordable prices. It features powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a moving floor brush for carpets and an excellent obstacle avoidance. It also features a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously dosed with water to pick dirt and place it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding stairs. However, automated vacuum struggled with fine engrained debris and was not always able to clear raised room thresholds. automated vacuum operating level of the sound is also very high, which means this model might not be as easy to set and forget as others.
Like most robotic vacuums and mops, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that lets you replenish its clean water as well as empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance simple and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to the regular schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all of its functions. It gives an easy overview and a variety of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is one of the most premium robot mowers available, and offers amazing mixed vacuuming and mopping performance. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with reasonable precision. The app lets users fine-tune the map coverage, set up no-go zones, and even modify their cleaning preferences. The Freo's roller brush was designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it. This can be an issue with a lot of robotic vacuums.
The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM and apply upward pressure of up to 12N. The mopping system also incorporates smart carpet detection, lifting the pads up when they're in proximity to soft surfaces to prevent contamination of the carpet.
The docking station acts as a hands-free maintenance centre that automatically washes and dry the mops and refills them with detergent and distillate water. The base station also features integrated dust processing that compacts dust for 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike traditional robot vacuums that empty their dust bins every time they need to be emptied.
6. S10
A few hundred dollars less than the S8, this robot does a bang-up job at keeping my home office spotless and also take on the corners of my cramped apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D map of your home so it knows what to avoid. It has an object/obstacle detector that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not poop) unlike most vacuums.
Other fantastic features include a self-emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing, adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also alter the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.
It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and can differentiate between laminate and carpets with high-pile rug. And, if you want to cut down on time, it can even skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't want to spend extra money on a Roborock with advanced mapping capabilities, this is an excellent option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is a great option to consider if you're looking for a versatile robot that can do both regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for wet messes. It has a range of features such as a self-emptying dustbin, a separate dock to refill water, and adjustable settings that can be adjusted via the app. It's extremely quiet and can navigate between furniture legs and socks with ease. It can't pick tangled rug tassels up and it drains its battery quicker than other models we tried.
The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a beast that comes with an impressive suction and easy automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests as the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however it did extremely well overall. It also comes with a selection of cleaning options to suit your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for debris that is light to the more powerful 'Turbo' option for rooms with carpet. It even has the ability to remove and reconnect the mop pads without causing your carpets wet.

8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in small spaces. It is very quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than its rivals, but doesn't sacrifice any features. It has a good amount of suction power and it can be configured to take a picture of each object it comes across (i.e. chew toys,, socks) and mark them as 'not found' in the app so that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.
It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't quite as efficient at mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes you clip onto the bottom of the bot and it basically drags them across your floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal that have reservoirs of water, and can automatically wash and attach their mophead.
